Propelled by a realistic problem and the need to test his illustration skills, Tom Anders created a poster led campaign that will get your attention.
Tom Anders is a UK based designer and art director, you can check out more of his work here, and this project was created for the D&AD New Blood awards. His excuse for the creation of this project was that he wanted to test his illustration skills.
Because the current shopping experience of The Body Shop lacked interactivity, the development of a new visual language was needed. Tom’s solution came under the form of a personalized interactive experience, held directly with Body Shop products. With a poster led campaign supporting the new visual style.
I really like how Tom approached a product for each design and created a pattern around it. We have: the lipstick, the perfume, the body cream, the eye drops and the call to action to stop the deforestation in Brazil.
I’m not that fond of the darker backgrounds used in some design, as they tend to tire your eyes when the pattern uses has dark colors as well. With all of this, they still look good!
