The Bungalow is a crime story in 11 pictures that tells a fatal ending night in the lives of the three protagonists.
Created by german photographer Per Kasch, The Bungalow is the place in witch the life of 3 people changes drastically. The action is set in the 70s – 80s, and it takes place in the love nest of a couple that have certain marital issues.
He is a successful business man with a passion for tennis, while she is the trophy wife in search for attention, attention that she doesn’t get from her husband. It’s a toxic combination if you’re the third wheel. Just ask the pizza boy that got caught with his pants down by her husband, while holding a tennis racket in his hands. Guess he never knew that the only thing he should have delivered is the pizza. Oh well, no matter, as we can see from the last frame is that the wife was been in these kind of adventures before. It’s a funny and dark way to end a story. At first, I was feeling bad for the wife, then to see all the X’s on that fast food poster, hahaha.
I had to look over the pictures a couple of times, really didn’t get it from the first look. I actually thought that eleven pictures wouldn’t be enough to tell the story. Why only 11 pictures? Is there something magic about the number? Then to see the last picture and get the dark humor.
The Bungalow is one of those projects that deserves its wows. Well done Per!
